International Positive Deviance conference week: past, present and future

It is time to join and register for your international conference week in Copenhagen the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of November 2016. You are invited as implementers, policy-makers, leaders, facilitators, researchers from all over the world to celebrate 25 years of Positive Deviance and to learn, share, network and get inspired to solve some of the most wicked challenges and problem in the world.


The convening will provide unique opportunities to share successes and lessons learned applying community and collaborate approaches to wicked problems solving and explore how amazing and sustainable results and impacts are implemented, and develop a vision for working on sustainable solutions for the next 10 years.


You will have a chance to meet and connect with practitioners, thought leaders, policy-makers, leaders and academics from around the world, in the fields of healthcare, global/public health, youth education, local and national government, social services, and justice, and commerce. A significant amount of time is dedicated for networking time.


You will also have a unique opportunity to practice tools that are needed in facilitating processes that create sustainable solutions to wicked problems through the participation in a PD inquiry the 3rd day of the convening, where we will be acting our way into a new way of thinking and seeking to learn from refugeeĀ“s successful adaptation to their new host countries.

As a practitioner

you will get inspiration in the art of mastering how to facilitate behavioral change processes and engage communities in problem solving.

you will get inspiration on how to successfully lead change processes and solving wicked challenges, and you will get to meet, connect with and learn from thought leaders within this field.
